Bought for its weather resistance and electroplated look. Well built, easy to assemble. The galvanized finish and unique lighting complement the limestone and galvanized gutters of the Texas vacation home. The wall control does not require a third power cable, but allows independent control of lighting and fans. Highly recommended.

Good fan with nice (and very bright) light. The controls are good, particularly the light dimming feature, which we really liked. After about a year, the fan developed a very audible hum that got pretty annoying. I like the light and industrial look of the fan, but the hum could make me replace it in the next few years. This is driving me insane.

Wow. I am considering buying this fan. That's way more than I thought I would pay for a fan. But it's the star of the room and looks great in a lake house. Very nautical/industrial. I changed the lighting for the rest of the room to better coordinate my actions. That's great. One thing though, the nickel reflects what's underneath. My blades look like wood because they reflect the ground. Still great.

This fan looks nice and its price tag around $400 labeled "Nickel" should be of good quality. It is not. A little over 12 months after installation on an open porch, with no direct rain, the surface finish is rusting. If you need to be convinced, you can look at our photos. What is this product, a cheap base metal with some kind of "nickel" (? maybe?) coating that lasts for months before rusting underneath. Shortly after I placed my order, I received an email from the company that they had received the order (in addition to emails from Amazon) . They informed me once it was shipped (which was within a day or two of ordering). I received the fan very quickly. The fan was installed by the husband with no problems. Revised 3/2015UPDATE. I installed new capacitor banks on both fans and they work much better now. It looks like they either came with poor packaging or the contractor who built the porch somehow mixed them both up during installation. I contacted the manufacturer and explained what was going on. Their CS dept was helpful and actually sent me capacitor units for free after years of installing them. I inserted them myself, and now the fans are turning directional revolutions. Now I love these…
