61 grams, soft, very comfortable

I have these in bright orange for hiking established trails during hunting season, there may be hunters on the ground alongside the trails. This hat is lightweight (61 grams). The hat is very soft and doesn't bunch up, unlike some fleece hats. Merino should not smell on long rides.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • quick start guide

I was surprised: Accessories

When I got this in the mail I thought it was too flimsy to be effective. I carried my hunt in northern Montana. 15 degrees Fahrenheit, 40 mph wind, head never cold. I got a little sweat walking around, but I ended up fitting the double part of the edges and it was very comfortable. I would highly recommend it, I'm glad I got it and for the price it could be worth a lot more.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Great hat! in Hats & Caps

I bought this hat for running in cold weather. I wear fleece hats and they have a smelly odor that cannot be washed off. I hope the natural wool of this hat will be better. This hat is very soft and comfortable. The length is a little long which makes it very flexible as to what type of coverage you want. You can simply roll up the excess at the bottom. Very nice hat, a bit pricey but worth the money.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • No performance

Literally the best hat I've ever worn!

LOVE. Very comfortable, ideal under a bike helmet for those morning brisk rides or just to wear in the car and back to work. I will never go back to acrylic. I have the orange and white version. I love both equally well. I find them comfortable anywhere from very cold to 50's and 60's. Wool perfectly preserves the smell of sweat even after long walks or trips. I've used them many times in the Colorado mountains and all winter in Iowa.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No guidance

Suitable for a thick head.

This hat replaces my favorite smartwool hat that fell out of my coat pocket while running through the airport. Luckily this Minus33 hat was even better - a little warmer, a little softer and most importantly it fits my fat XL head better than other fairly snug fitting hats. So now I can consider this purchase an "upgrade" and not the result of an unfortunate loss. Also comes w. reusable packaging for off-season cap storage to protect against moths. Highly recommended, especially for largeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Available in white only

My favorite fall/winter/spring cap. Highly recommended.

This is actually my second order because I liked the first one so much I wanted a different color. buy but pay twice as much. I was definitely rewarded. It looks great and is the most comfortable hat/hat I've ever had. A random person even approached me in the store and asked where I got it because it was "exactly what they were looking for". I rated them 4/5 for warmth because they're definitely not made for the coldest of situations, but in terms of size and comfort they're still outstanding.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some difficulties

100% MERINO WOOL DOES NOT MEAN 100% MERINO WOOL!

First off, let me say that I'm no newbie to wool. In fact, the photos I've posted compare this hat to some of the best merino wool base layers you can buy in a similar weight. Anyone who has had clothing made from real wool, merino or not, knows that this is not a stretchy material and doesn't hold its shape well, so it needs to be reshaped after washing and laid flat to dry, so manufacturers add a stretch fabric, like z like Eslatin to help him stay in shape when needed. This hat is veryโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
