I carry them in a cloth bag in case I have leftovers. It's nice NOT to throw more styrofoam containers in the trash! The presence of 3 stainless steel containers of different sizes, easily nestable, allows you to separate products. It's also great to have little containers to take snacks with you! The lids fit well, nothing drips.

The lids are plastic, not silicone, so these aren't the fakes I was expecting. If you're buying stainless steel to avoid plastic, this container isn't for you. My kids can't open them on their own (ages 3 and 5 although a 5 year old is close). It's not what I was hoping for but they appear to be well made and durable. We haven't had any issues with leaks, but we haven't tested them with anything like applesauce either.

As with the previous review, I bought this for my daughter's lunch. School started today so I used this and was surprised when I took the lid off to see/feel that there was some kind of coating inside. It looks like stainless steel from the outside, but it's not smooth or shiny on the inside, and like the previous reviewer, I don't think it's safe for my daughter's dinners. I bought this container specifically because it's made of "stainless steel" which is a safe material! Very disappointed!

They seem very sturdy to me and the upper fits well. The smallest container is more like a snack container that you can put in your purse or backpack. The other two sizes are more suitable for pantry or fridge storage. They fold into each other, which is very convenient to save space.

i use them everyday to pack my own lunch and am very happy with them after using them for 3 weeks. Can't say for sure if they're airtight because I use a small thermos instead to keep my meals hot or cold, but using them for fruits, veggies, and nuts has been amazing. Mira makes excellent containers. I also have a set of three squares, but they're especially good because they stack together. They're very nicely made and the tops are airtight (provided you press firmly to seal properly, which isn't difficult, but practice a few times before tossing in your purse or bag).
