These bottles have been working fine for the past few weeks until today I discovered that both rubber seals were covered in black mold. They are quite difficult to remove, especially the smaller one next to the mouthpiece cap. I threw out the gaskets and checked for leaks. My kids play sports so I was looking for a sturdy water bottle they could carry around. I bought many water bottles that I ended up constantly having to disassemble and soak hidden mold in tiny pieces. This water bottle solves so many problems I've had in the past. It has a wide opening, which makes cleaning inside very convenient. The bottle has only one cap with no hidden parts to disassemble and clean. This water bottle doesn't hold as much liquid as larger bottles, but that's not a problem.

The flip top lid uses a real hinge instead of bent plastic that breaks with normal use. The build material is very similar to higher end brands like Contigo.
