Good product but prepare for hard work

Good quality product, looks good and works well. NOTE: The core of this wheel is approximately 3 times thicker than an OEM turbo cooler, so do not trust the factory reps to fit a Mazdaspeed Miata (stock turbo and air conditioning). You MUST do some modifications and amazing work. ie: the fan shroud tabs need to be trimmed, you need to shave some sections of the fan shroud motor support legs to expose the intercooler tubes and/or lower radiator hose, and move the A/C condenser forward as much as

Pros
  • TIG welded aluminum heatsink with high pressure protective cap and magnetic drain plug
Cons
  • Out of fashion

You can find this information elsewhere on the web but this cooler is not a direct replacement for the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata. What I ended up doing was: bending the AC condenser brackets, sawing off part of the condenser case, sawing off the fan cover, enlarging the hole on the left radiator bracket, cutting off the gasket/sleeve to mount the condenser and repositioning my flying Miata -Inlet on the throttle body. . What would have been 45 minutes of work on a direct landing turned out to…

Pros
  • Fits Mazda Miata 1999-2005 Owner's manual
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
