Mandatory for 7.3: Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

Stop wasting money on OEM or Dorman brands. You fail all the time. Modified under warranty 3 plastic. I had enough and I paid extra money. It's worth it. Probably survive my truck.

Wonderful absolutely wonderful

Went through 2 regular tanks, both started to leak at the seam. I couldn't believe I got 2 in a row that were bad. So I settled on this Mishimoto tank and couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Appearance

Great product for coolant conversion kits

We fitted this Mishimoto to our 1999 7.3 liter Powerstroke. It's better to replace all the hoses at the same time, very easy work. It holds more volume than the OEM and is built to outlast a truck. One has to admire capitalism to design and manufacture such quality products.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Safety

Better than plastic substitutes.

I got a plastic replacement from the factory and it started leaking after about 6 months. Installed this device, a great alternative. Holds more coolant than the original. 2001 F550 7.3 liter aerial work platform. It's time for new hoses. Only use Ford Motorcraft hoses or you'll regret it later.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

2001 Ford F-250 4X4 7.3L

Good stuff. In the last 8 years or so I've had two OEM failures. After the last time I decided on this one. Should handle the dryness and heat of Arizona a little better than the plastic ones. Fits absolutely no problem. Mishimoto has never let me down with any of their products.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Best customer service

I had a crack in the plastic tank and was looking for a good replacement. But all the reviews I saw online for other plastics were not good. So I settled on the best aftermarket tank I could find with the best reviews. Now I shouldn't have any problems with the truck. The truck will survive.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

High price for what? Made in China and didn't fit.

Was glad to install it to clean under the hood and get rid of the dirty and cracked plastic tank. But I was about to install it and the bottom bracket was resting on the AC line and the edges are sharp and the top bracket was a full inch from the passenger side. I thought it was made in the USA but upon closer inspection the box says it was made in the USA I think it said Delaware but made in, you guessed it, CHINA. So $300 for Chinese manufacturing and quality control at a Made in America…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
