🚗 Chris Forsberg Limited Edition Shift Knob by Mishimoto: Supreme Performance Upgrade for Your Vehicle's Interior Review

This is a nice shift knob and fairly light, the only downside is that it doesn't match the ND Miata shifters very well. There is a significant gap between the switch shoe and the handle. You can lift the boot to hit the grip, but it won't stay in place. I think you could use a zip tie or something to hold it in place, but it wouldn't look the best.

In short this product is useless as it comes with plastic adapters. Broke on first install trying to tighten it. For a $60 product, it's an absolute joke that it doesn't come with metal adapters. I even had metal adapters from another pen but they didn't fit this pen so my plan B didn't work either.

Comfortable, reliable grip. It's aluminum, so it heats up when the car gets warm. So be aware. The only real complaint is that the adapters are plastic and break easily. For those who say this isn't enough, at least on my wrx, I had to screw the adapter into the grip and then screw the whole thing to the stock. It took some hard twists but ended up going stock and can now easily get to the reverse lock ring.

Best purchase I've ever made on Amazon! Super heavy really nice feeling. The adapter worked great with my 2004 Mazda 3, 4 adapter to choose from. One thing I didn't expect is that the screws are a little flat compared to the stock knob, so I'll have to get a new shift boot and have it custom fitted. Just another reason to tune my car haha. Really great product, especially for a Forsberg fan. Quite expensive but as soon as I took it out of the box I knew it would last forever.
