Vernier scale in inch units for taking precise outside diameter (OD) measurements. Ratchet-stop mechanism helps provide uniform pressure for precise, repeatable measurements. Baked enamel finish for protection and durability of frame. Satin chrome finish on thimble and sleeve helps resist rust and reduce glare. Carbide facing on spindle and anvil provides wear resistance.

Mitutoyo always wins

For measuring at the workplace. They display tenths and have a smooth ride, I like the ratcheting spindle, comes with a 1.0000 inch test block.

Reliable accuracy: testing, measuring and verifying

Mitutoyo microphones are always reliable. They are reliable in tool making. I bought a 1-2 micron set because I was using my company's set more and more. The seller delivered very quickly.

Worth the price!

I just switched to the mechanical part of our shop and received a list of tools that I need to buy in order to be able to complete my tasks. Below that list were microns. 0-1", and 1-2". I've looked at what other people are using and Mitutoyo has been used almost exclusively. I came to Revain and started reading rave reviews about Mitutoyo products.
