Excellent pocket scale; Misleading Image

This scale is NOT made in the USA. The image shows a scale with the same model number "Made in USA" but the actual product says "Made in Japan". Mitutoyo makes good precision tools, so it's not a big deal.

Exactly what I expected

I bought this ruler for my woodworking needs. It arrived on time, was in perfect condition and was very easy to read. After working with it for the past few weeks I find it to be easier on my eyes than my general 6 inch rule, but it should be more expensive. I expected the quality and it was delivered. I like the metric side because I have measured many Festool products in millimeters. I liked this rule so much that I also bought 18-inch and 24-inch models. They have also arrived and I am just…

Big, precise little rule. I love my.

Please note this little guy is only 15/32" (0.46875) wide, not 1/2" as listed (measured with Starrett C604RE 6" Ruler -6). All other stated measurements and dimensions are accurate. In addition, this is a great little metal ruler. Just thick enough to keep it snug and accurate and thin enough to allow enough flex on uneven surfaces if needed. This thinness sometimes makes it difficult to select, especially on flat, smooth, smooth surfaces (e.g. sheet metal, glass, some types of plastic). but…
