Four-way measurement capability for multiple applications: outside diameter (OD), inside diameter (ID), depth, and step. IP67-certified for protection from dust and against temporary submersion in water. Digital, single-value readout LCD displays in inch or metric units for readability. World's unique solar powered super caliper has no battery. The impact resistance of the display unit has been increased for improved usability in workshop conditions. IP67 protection assures waterproof reliability. This super caliper uses components that do not contain harmful substances and is compatible with RoHS directives. Supplied in fitted plastic case.

Not Up to Industrial Standards

Using this product, our team found that the readings were consistently inaccurate leading to delays in our production process. Despite the high cost, we were disappointed with the overall quality of this product. The design and resolution specifications were lacking, causing frustration when attempting to obtain precision measurements. While marketed for industrial and scientific use, we were left underwhelmed by its performance..

I can't recommend it for real use.

I liked the idea of this caliper, but unfortunately I can't recommend it in practice. It takes a surprising amount of light to function properly. And when you take it out of the case, there's no charge. So if you're measuring something and accidentally direct it away from a light source, it dies. It does not have an auto power off function. So if you put it in a suitcase, it dies. Also, you can't expose it to sunlight, otherwise it will damage the batteries. Therefore, it cannot be used…
