The color of these tins is great, but the two halves don't fit together as tightly as I wish they would.The bottom tin could be about a quarter of an inch shorter, to fit together like other shaker sets.The lack of a perfect fit will often result in the tins coming apart and splashing your drink all over you.This doesn't happen often -- but the bigger issue is just that perfect "nesting" feeling you get when a smaller tin fits snugly into the bigger one.And after a few uses, the gold paint is…

As a cocktail shaker, it works really well. After literally one weekend of use, the paint on the tin started chipping real bad. It would make a better decorative piece than a functional one. Also notes some rusting in the seam where the bottom of the tin and the tin walls meet. I have hand washed only. If it went in the dishwasher I have no doubt the paint would be completely gone. Just buy a regular stainless shaker, not worth buying to have the paint come off after a weekend of use.

I like the feel and weight of the set, but the cap on the bottom of the large tin has fallen off in less than one month. That's my review.

We bought and have used these in our restaurant and have loved them. However We bought a couple more to replace the ones that have broken. The reason they broke is that we just use them a lot and its normal wear and tear. However the new ones are not the same. The metal feels thinner and the smaller shaker is noticeable smaller. I have a feeling they are trying to save money by reducing the materials needed to manufacturer these.

so i've been making painkillers without shaking them for a while. made it with these shakers and it's superb. they're really easy to work with and you have no issue sliding them out once you're done. if you have big hands like me. then this product will be for you!
