Description of 👟 Mizuno Men's Rider Running Shoes in Campanula Silver

Textile. Imported. Rubber sole. Shaft measures approximately low-top from arch. The Wave Rider 23's Mizuno Wave cushioning technology provides ultra soft comfort in a super secure fit. Lightweight and breathable mesh upper offers controlled temperatures and top unwavering performance. Wave Rider 23 features a dual compound midsole using U4ic and U4icX technologies for unrivalled responsiveness and exhilarating runs. This neutral favorite works best for slight underpronation all the way to very slight overpronation. For moderate overpronation the Wave Horizon 3 or Wave Inspire 15 would be best.

Mizuno has made changes to this compared to the previous model.

Wanted to love this new version of Wave Riders. My husband found a shoe he wanted to walk in forever until Mizuno switched to the Wave Rider. He has a Mizuno Wave Rider 20. He had problems with his upgraded Asics, which injured his legs and caused huge blisters after only a few kilometers. He switched to Mizuno and liked them so I bought the Wave Rider 23 in his normal size 12. They were way too big! The sock is not the same size as the 20's and they were too long. So I went back to try 11.5…

Another great model from Mizuno

I've been a regular Mizuno customer since Wave Rider 16 (2014). These shoes have a roomy toe, stable base and light weight. durable, versatile quality running shoes. during this couple. For some reason the fabric on the heel is wearing strangely and a hole has formed in the left shoe. I only wear Nike Elite Lightweight No-Show Tab running socks. and this has never happened with other couples. I'm assuming it's a stuffed Fluke and will be buying another pair. Thought I'd post this in case this…

Good successor to Wave Sky 2

. I know it's not technically a successor to Wave Sky 2, but to me they are. I've been wearing the Wave Sky 2 on all my trips for over 2 years now. I go through a couple of them about every 2 months (325 miles or so) before they stop supporting enough to keep using them. But WS2 is harder to find now that it's two generations old. I don't want to pay a high price for these shoes. I decided to try the Rider 23 as a backup and so far I'm happy (75 miles on the first pair). There is usually one…

Very good stability and subtle rebound which is a compliment

I'm definitely putting this shoe in the long/medium distance shoe category, I'm not sure it will ever be a good racing shoe. This is the only and first time that I've enjoyed a stiffer sole on my running shoes. I've tried different Nikes, Asics, I've tried Newtons and Adidas Boost which have been my favorites for a long time, I think I've been through at least 8 different types of Boost and it's always left me with the impression that it's mostly been good, to run half marathons. This is…

Wave Rider 22 Preference

This review is critical over the Wave Rider 23's predecessor, the Wave Rider 22. The new upper in the Wave Rider 23 series is a step down from the Wave in my opinion Driver Predecessor 22. This is more of a fabric and I have concerns about the durability/support required. So far so good, but it's also aesthetically inferior to the 22. While Mizuno claims a 12mm heel drop on both the Wave Rider 22 and Wave Rider 23, the Waver Rider 23 appears to have less heel drop than the Wave Rider 22, which…

Disintegrated in 40 days

I liked the ones I bought in 2019 and bought another pair in June 2020. In less than 6 weeks the soles were already falling apart. I only wore them 5-6 times a week just for morning runs of about 5 miles each. They are therefore already worn out after approx. 150 km. Even cheap running shoes should last many times longer. The ones I bought in 2019 haven't shown this much wear and tear in months. At this point, the old couple still looked fairly new. Avoid these 2020s - there's clearly a quality

So far so good good for men

Received these shoes today and am very satisfied. This is my first pair of Mizuno running shoes and I've always been a fan of this style. I've recently run in ASICS Kayanos (which I really like) as well as Nike Pegasus and Flyknit. I ran a relatively short 4 mile run in them today right out of the box and they seem great. Feels similar to the Kayanos but maybe with a slightly less durable heel pad (which is fine with me. I've run quite a bit in minimalist shoes like Merrell trail gloves, but…

Calibrate your foot if you're a runner

Great shoes. #21 was the only one I had trouble with. This is the 4th generation I bought. This is the only shoe that fits me perfectly and doesn't cause any problems. Remember that you need to determine your foot size to see which shoe is perfect for you. Just because it's good for me doesn't mean it's good for you too.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Damaged

They resemble a cheap copy of the previous generation of shoes.

Loved my Mizuno Wave Rider 18 or 19 light green for running! I was hoping that they would be at least at the same level, but I'm very disappointed. The green cars walked like a baby's butt, they were so soft and supportive! That's a far cry from the quality of the previous generation. They are thin, especially in the forefoot area, resulting in poor stability. Booooo!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Almost OK
