Runs very small, good for women

I am size 8.5 but I am buying 9 sneakers. I had to buy 10 of them because they are so small. They also make my feet very sweaty. I wore them around the house trying them on and my toes were sweating profusely which I don't usually get. I only kept them because I was tired of buying and returning and because they are comfortable enough, but I won't be buying them again.
