Nice shoe cushion

I wear Saucony and Mizuna from time to time. My Wave Rider shoes feel softer than Saucony shoes. The sock feels a little short and a little tight even though I increased the size by half a size. I will only wear thinner socks because I love them!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

Comfortable at first but terrible after 4 hours

I really wanted to love these shoes Dash I've tried on probably 25 different pairs of shoes and these were the first ones that were really comfortable almost immediately after putting them on. Fast forward four hours. My heels hurt so much that by the end of the day, only the base of the middle of the heel hurt. I took them off and felt good.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Not automatic

Still on the wave. The best so far!

I've been using almost every version of Wave Rider since 2009. I had to take a break at 15 seconds (I think) when the instep was changed to be too flat for my high arches, but I got back within a few years. This is the best version in my opinion. Soft yet lightweight, cushioning yet responsive. Everything about these shoes is just right. I can't wait to run all those miles in these little ones.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Different from previous versions

I have been an avid Wave Rider user for many years. While I still like the shoe, it's nowhere near as soft/cushioning/comfortable as previous versions. I think I may reorder one of the older versions in the future

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some issues
