These items don't have to be easy to assemble. There are small pilot holes on one side of the plate where you can insert screws for brackets to attach to the pipe. Read the instructions first and you'll be fine. SN: They come with two types of anchors. The screws (which I prefer) are quite brittle so be careful when inserting them when using them.

These are beautiful rustic shelves. Installation instructions were not included, but are not required either. The wall handles have 4 holes and you need to insert 4 of them and then attach the shelf to the handle and bracket. It can be difficult to do everything the same way. It would be nice if it came with instructions on how to install the brackets to make alignment easier.

Well I'm ordering another set to tell you I love them. I installed myself, girl power, and they are on the level and so on. Perfect length and width for my small guest bathroom. I painted mine black like I planned when I bought it. They come with strong anchors so they hold everything well. Now the stands are metal and I REALLY had to twist them a few times to make sure they lined up, but overall it's easy. Now all I have to do is install my new white sink! :)

Got this for my 1/2 bath a few months ago but finally got around to fitting it. Unfortunately I didn't check it when it was delivered, otherwise I would have noticed that the brackets for attaching the wooden board to the poles were missing. There were no instructions either. Installing without a guide shouldn't be difficult, pretty much self-explanatory. There are instructions in the product photos so I found out I was missing the brackets. Exactly what I wanted. Making my powder room and it is very pretty and looks amazing. There are no instructions. But difficult to understand, but in fact there is no instruction strange. I also don't plan on using my shelves for anything heavy, so I only used one anchor per accessory - 2 anchors per shelf. Each shelf has 4 screws on each side for a total of 8 anchors per shelf. I've searched online and this was the best I could find for the price. The color of the wood just goes with the oily bronze accents in my bathroom, even though the metal is black. The wood is very light. I attached the brackets to the wood, set the spirit level on the shelf and held it against the wall, marked the holes with a pencil and then drilled holes for the wall anchors. I then had to remove the brackets from the shelf to put the screws in the top holes and finally reassemble everything.

However, the width and length are a lot narrower and shorter than intended (yes, didn't read the measurements, just looked at the pictures ha!), so they're more suited to decorative items than book storage.
