If you sew, you need this ruler

Wow! Whether you're sewing clothes for yourself or someone else, this is a tool you might want to consider. I wish I had had this flexible curved ruler when I first started sewing. One of the problem areas for me is the braid on my arm - I need a size 8 for the armhole and a size 12 for the bust. The flexible curve ruler allows me to accurately measure my shoulder and accurately transfer those measurements to my patterns. And I don't need a buddy to miss me, and I don't need to be an acrobat…

Just a Ruler - Linear Measure

This product is good for getting a rough measure I think and nothing more. It won't hold its shape if moved at all. Although flexible, there are points that don't seem to want to bend at all, leaving little flex. Even if I could transfer the drawing, I would have to make corrections. This is the first time I've given a product a bad review, but I don't have to. The title is probably fine, but the rest of the description is misleading. I think measuring, just measuring the curve, can be done for

Flexible curve measuring device in metric and imperial units.

If you need to measure curved objects, this is the right tool. It holds its shape perfectly and is calibrated in metric and imperial units. The gauge doesn't clump up or make it difficult to measure accurately like some other flexible gauges I've tried and discarded. The edges of rule delineation can be right on the edge, which would make this device near perfect. There is about a millimeter of polymerized rubber between the boundary lines and the rim, which is not very accurate for precision…

  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
