Perfect fit and functionality

No issues with this part. Disassembly is pretty tricky. Soldering is very difficult and I would only recommend doing it yourself if you have significant "micro soldering" or SMD experience. Magnification is very helpful, but a microscope is not necessary.

NOT easy to install - be careful newbies!

Terrible. The product description says it's easy to install and you don't need to be a technician. NOT CORRECT. It's not like changing the phone screen. The iPad is very difficult to open and requires complete disassembly to access this connector. Then the installation required micro-soldering, an advanced technical skill.

Great product, stronger than usual. Installation

Just what I need. It's definitely harder to fix on an iPad, so make sure you fully understand what this means before doing it yourself.

CHARGING DOCK STATION CAME CLEAN

Just crazy! So I finally soldered the flexible part to the motherboard and was ready to test it. I've made tons of them so it's not rocket science. I plug it in to try and nothing. So I thought maybe the device was just taking a little longer to charge. I leave a few of us while I do other repairs and there's still no life.
