Loses phone. - Motorcycle & Powersports

I just lost my Galaxy S8 in an Otterbox case on the 405 N in Los Angeles using this mob armor mount. The phone just flew out of my KTM Superduke 1290R at 90mph on the first day of use. The phone was immediately destroyed by 50 cars and no one else saw it. Damn. In my opinion you need 4 pins, not 3.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Some Trouble

Solid mount for quick installation

It was a little more expensive than I was planning to spend but works great. Attaches to the roll cage of my own rock buggy. Jumped off a 4 foot dune at about 20 mph, hit so hard it sheared four 1/2 bolts and bent the axle bracket. The phone stayed in portrait mode. In my opinion it's worth it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Stupid weak retention mechanism

Always worried that I would lose my phone because of this, and almost happened a few times. It finally happened last week, and luckily for Find My iPhone, I was able to find it in a roadside ditch. This clip ended up in the trash when I got back, where it should have ended up long ago. Now I'm looking for a replacement.

The phone doesn't hold securely

I got it because there were a lot of good reviews. Well, after the first day of cycling I came to the conclusion that this mount is bullshit. It doesn't hold my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The phone rotates in the holder so that it almost falls off. Too bad I didn't throw the package away so I could send it back. Now it's expensive pulp. Save your money and get a RAM x clutch instead.

Pros
  • nice little thing

Great holder, just take your time installing it.

If you have a rubber phone case, squeeze the phone as hard as you can before tightening the set screw. Almost lost my phone on the freeway. Also make sure it's not on the handlebar cone, the whole thing can turn if the claw isn't tightened enough. All in all, with proper care, this is a great phone holder for the money. Love the fact that it's easy to remove if you don't need a phone holder.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Seems complicated, but we'll find out!

Just opened the package and pushed this tough looking and sensitive prankster against her cruel new lover. This is tested in one of our fire-fighting bulldozers. Working the plow and hopping around the pine plantation gives him some vibration test and a powerful boost. It's helpful to have some sort of GPS monitor if you can't see anything inside the farmland. Hoping this helps as a third hand to see exactly what I'm following. I will report on his progress throughout the season (hopefully…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not sure
