This is a leather footstool/small bench suitable for use with a chair, or in a closet or vanity. Perfect for putting shoes on in a mudroom, for instance. Doesn't take up a lot of room, and has a mid-century modern look. Great that it doesn't need to be assembled and legs can be slightly adjusted for balance on uneven floors.What I don't like it is that the "grey" leather is actually a brownish, olive green. I didn't have high expectations for this "revain" brand furniture, but I have been pleasantly surprised by Rivet. I ordered a cloth footstool with diamond pattern and I have really liked it. The footstool came already built, so not assembly required - but it was in a rather large box. The footstool is on the taller end (your feet will stick straight out if sitting on a lower height couch instead of angled downwards) but is comfortable and stylish. Really nice but it arrived with one leg bent enough to notice (even though the packaging looked intact from the outside). For the amount spent this is disappointing.
