Good raw solar panel.

This is a very well made panel designed to take heavy loads. This is the base plate. There are no assembly aspects, so this might be an issue for some. You can use staples from the hardware store. Or washers and screws. I agree with others it would be nice if it came with some wires or any connections. But I won't follow the panel because I wasn't expecting any cables, it doesn't say they are included so I don't know why people are giving lower ratings on that aspect. On the other hand, there…

High quality solar panel with no instructions or accessories

As other reviewers have noted the cable came without a cable. What was there were the +/- ends under the slide cover. so i think it could be worse. The battery I was planning to use it with came with a car charger. As I wasn't planning on using this in my car I took the cable, cut off one end, removed the +/- wires and screwed them onto the solar panel poles. pretty trivial job, and hey! It works out! In the fall at 1 p.m. in central Wisconsin (definitely weaker than noon in June) it produced…

Barebones Panel But Definitely Delivers Rated Power

Overview: **10W 20W 30W 12V Solar Panel 12V PV Module Monocrystalline Cell for RV Car Marine Boat Caravan Battery Charging System (30W) ** This panel comes with the panel itself and that's it - no wires, no brackets, nothing. I wasn't very impressed with the panel connectors - they're very thin and you can't attach wires to them - but you can solder the wires or use connectors like Gardner Bender. Plate works very well. I've seen it produce 28.3 watts at 9:30 am in October, barely in peak…

No extension cord

Summary: For off-grid small solar projects. Previously we considered a 20W kit that includes a cheap PWM controller. Observations: The panel is a monocrystalline panel which is more efficient (and expensive) than polycrystalline. Panel specs are listed on the Revain page (not all panels include this vital information). Recommendations: 1) If space allows (for a solar panel), purchase the largest panel that you can use for your application. 2) Check the polarity with a voltmeter along the way…

  • Ok

Literally just a panel, no cables or wires as in the photo.

So it's literally just a panel in itself. No brackets, no cables, no screws, nothing but the box it comes in. So be very careful, this is not a kit and you must use existing hardware to assemble or build your own. Also, you'll need to solder or screw on a set of wires to use this. The panel is also a single panel and not a 2/4/6 cell design as shown in the photo. I was planning on cutting the 6 volt solar panel connection for my portable battery/solar generator so it wouldn't be a deal breaker,

  • Terrace, Lawn and Garden
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good quality monocrystalline solar panel, no wires

it is) so instant that it deducted a star. It only has a small junction box that only fits a fairly small two-wire cable. If you want to run a thicker PV cable to this junction box, you can't. I decided to solder a two core 16 AWG cable with a 2.1mm connector on the other end. This is probably the thickest cable you can plug into this small junction box. *** So, just to be clear, all the pictures I've posted with the cable on this solar panel show the cable I installed on it. * ** I connected…
