I bought two of these Moen faucets over a year ago. They look great in the bathroom. Recently one of the faucets started peeling paint at the base. I bought a new edge to replace the broken one. The new faucet is completely unusable as part of the faucet is rubbed with oil and the other part is smeared with ORB. Are these faucets actually from Moen? You are fake. The faucet is heavy, looks very solid and is well made. Installation was very easy. The water pressure in my area is very good and I have found that the faucet reduces the force of the flow. The packaging says 1.2 GPM (gallons per minute), but the product description says 1.5 GPM. I removed the cache aerator with the included green plastic aerator key and ordered a 2.2 GPM aerator which solved the limited water flow issue. This heavy blender has a premium look. The problem I have is the neck reach - how far the neck extends from the base. It covers half my sink and I literally have to choose which half of the sink I'm going to spit in. I need a shorter reach crane and need to return it. Reach is not one of the parameters included in their description and it is the difference between a good high arc and a flatter one like this. I should have researched this more but they don't make it easy. I will choose one model

This was a great faucet with a serious problem; Insufficient water pressure to activate our instantaneous water heater when needed. I considered a few solutions including buying a higher flow aerator. Before spending more money I decided to unscrew and disassemble the included aerator. I used the tip of a knife to peel off the white mesh top and then removed that pink part (see picture) and then put it back together and rolled it back up. Now the water flows better and we get hot water quickly.

Let me first just say this is a fantastic quality faucet. ALL metal, not a big store plastic part. The first clue was the crates themselves - standard Jane Moen assembly crates. We installed this faucet in our basement bathroom and noticed almost immediately that it ended up dripping. No big deal, I blasted the leads and cleaned the aerator but it kept dripping.
