Made cheap. for toothed belt tools

The teeth are very soft. Used a couple of times, worn out. It has a plastic sleeve around the base and it was chewed up when I got it. DO NOT BUY.

Oof damn for tools and gear

Dude I'm very disappointed I need time to finish my truck there have only been 3 good corners and the teeth on the tool are chewed off. What the hell are you doing that sucks

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I'll be silent

Not worth the money

The tool looks decent until you use it. The tool didn't turn the motor half a turn before it cracked and snapped its joints. Would have bought dearly for what happened to it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

5.9 Turning tool in Engine Tools

just received. Not used yet. looks great. but a "wearing collar" that looked like metal. It's just a piece of shrink tubing, squeezed tight and unable to rotate. I will use and update this week.

Doesn't work as advertised

Doesn't work. 2005 Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins. The teeth barely engage and slip after a few turns of the ratchet. I did about 15 degrees on the flywheel before resorting to the screwdriver method.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but something happened

Disposable tool, maybe

Not hardening which was probably a good thing as it's a bit small and the teeth barely make contact with the flywheel. The only reason I gave it 2 runs is that it got the job done because I used a crank envelope and a bar tool to fine tune the TDC. The teeth would probably wear out if I made a full revolution with this bar tool.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • bits and pieces

Good price, mediocre quality.

Liked the price and quick availability. As with any tool, you get what you pay for, and decent versions of this tool range from $60 to $100 (Cummins to Snap-on). With this tool, you can complete 1 or 2 tasks without any mistakes. tool, great. However, professional mechanics should not invest in this product. The extreme wear and tear shown in the picture is due to a single use. As you can see, despite a lot of work, the wedges don't hold up.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old
