Description of Polydoh Moldable Plastic + Coloring Granules 6oz - Melts in Hot Water - Durable Hand Moldable Plastic for DIY, Crafts, Cosplay, Repairs, Prototyping - Polymorph, Plastimake

Moldable plastic can be shaped by hand using nothing else but hot water. Perfect for all DYI and craft projects, repairs, fixtures, as a gap filler, for fake teeth, vampire teeth, cosplay, mold making, etc. This is a permanent solution, not just a quick fix!. ✱ NEW: includes 6 packs of coloring granules - only Materialix uses 6 colors (including white) to allow you to create ANY color (4 colors won't create any light shades). ✱ SIMPLE TO USE: melts in hot water (140°F). ✱ INCREDIBLY STRONG: you won't be able to break it with your hands; nor a hammer! can withstand a force of 8400 lb per square inch! that's 4x more than a HDPE milk jug!. ✱ DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER: unlike all other brands on Amazon, we don't just buy it from China; we manufacture it to our specification in Europe; we use safe catalysts and polymers are made in GMP conditions; pellets are fully polymerized and all melt in the same temperature, don't smell, aren't off-white/yellow, and aren't sticky nor hard to mold; we've chosen the right molecular weight for hand molding applications.

It formed very easily, although it took several tries.

I had a tooth removed and needed quick treatment. Bought Polydoh (as it was the cheapest) and Temp Tooth. To me, these are exactly the same white molded granules. But this one costs $7.95 for 6 oz, not $40 for 0.5 oz! It formed very easily, although it took several attempts to form the perfect tooth. Since the material is white, I had to stain it in tea (thanks to YouTube!). It saved me $1,100 that the dentist wanted and something I can't currently afford. The material is durable, you can eat…

MATERIALIX HAS CHANGED THE FORMULA. NOW POLYDOCH DOES NOT SLEEP!

I bought this earlier. The company changed the materials so it doesn't harden as quickly as it used to. I bought the exact same bag last year. The sculptures were easy to shape, AND I was able to sand and/or sand with a grinder if needed. The new formula is so soft that the sculptures don't even harden properly. They will not hold their shape and will "wilt" before hardening, rendering the sculpture completely unusable. By the way. I'm a verified buyer. I bought a pack last year and bought a…

Ideal for attaching zips

I bought these to make new zips. The first one I made was for a zipper on a suitcase. The suitcase is old so I thought it would be a good test. I didn't use any paint, just standard beads. I first tried wrapping melted plastic around a large zippered paper clip that I used (for many years!) but it was too big and sloppy. I cut the paperclip and just twisted the ends and made a plastic ball and shaped it. It dried white and looks great. It's durable and works better than a paper clip. Then I…

I need to practice with this. I've been arguing between this and pre-mixed polymer "clay" to reinforce my computer charger and cables. The reason I chose this is because it doesn't pre-mix and therefore doesn't dry out. However, once it has been soaked in hot water and softened, you need to knead it a little to make it softer, then make it thin and wrap it around the string (I assume it will be in the second part after the no mixing instructions). . part!), maybe you cut off what you…

  • Ugly Packaging

I bought this item because my 5 year old daughter loves sensory play. I thought we could play with Polydoh to create fun things together and I was amazed by the variety of colors this product offers. As soon as the package arrived, we started creating. Since you need to boil water to melt the beads, you need to make sure that the child does not get close to the stove. We threw polydoch in a bowl and added colored granules to create a custom color for our project. After about a minute, the…

Cool and useful, but bad for detailed sculpting

It's a little tricky to work with when trying to use it for creative purposes - cools too quickly to give much time to sculpt to need, but the quiet surface stays warm for a long time and it is difficult not to leave fingerprints or deformed areas just by holding it in your hands and working with it. I've had a bit of luck erasing fingerprints with a warm surface and fingers smeared with petroleum jelly, but if you're trying to get a specific shape or a ton of detail, this stuff isn't for you…
