It's ok for a monitor, but not for a laptop

The original goal was to buy one for a laptop, but it's too weak, "shakes" when typing, but for a monitor it works fine. In one review, one person said it's impossible to adjust the throttle. Well, when you use it for the first time, you need to use some force, then it will work fine. You cannot adjust the throttle until all the parts are connected as it is very difficult. If you are not in a hurry, you can buy the same thing twice cheaper on a Chinese site and wait 3-4 weeks. In my case, I…

Works great - supports blocking some ports

This mount works very well and supports my 15 inch Acer Triton 500 very well. This mount is an upgraded VESA 100 mount (and actually includes a VESA 100 plate), but it uses a quick-release thumbscrew to replace the plates, so I'm not complaining about potential added utility. It is very easy to assemble and very easy to move after assembly. It's nice to be able to rotate it towards and away from me easily. Excellent and durable computer accessories and peripherals

There are many options for laptop holders. This is the only one I've bought and really really like it. It came installed and my (heavy) 17" Dell laptop fits in perfectly. From unboxing to fully operational took about 15 minutes. Comes with the keys needed for assembly. Another very important aspect is that It comes with a laptop stand and a VESA mount Attaches to the desk/desk so no holes need to be drilled Very wide range of motion Really takes up a lot of desk space.

A little price tag, but the quality is good. For XPS 13 and ROG Strix Hero III 17 "

Purchased 2. I have my XPS 13 which weighs just over 2 pounds. Works great. Slightly overkill my ROG Strix Hero in my opinion III. It's a 17" laptop that weighs over 6lbs. I'm sure it will have no problem holding it. But the bracket is a bit flat and I can't fit the laptop cooler underneath the laptop if it's installed on it. Not that the mount says it supports it, but it would be nice to be able to. The laptop gets very hot even when the game is idle.

I wouldn't like that in a monitor arm, but for a laptop that's still in use despite being set up as a desktop, it's really nice to be able to swivel it towards and away from me easily.
