What's worse, every time you turn on the DVR

Monoprice and Revain to the rescue! I recently bought a dashcam and the power cord that came with it wasn't long enough. To make matters worse, every time the dash cam was turned on it caused horrible FM radio interference to the point where I couldn't even listen to the radio due to the annoying hissing. unshielded and giving me problems with interference, I went for this beauty. And so my guess turned out to be correct. With this cable, my FM radio is crystal clear again! The 10-foot length…

Pros
  • Save when you buy 2 pack!
Cons
  • Reliability

. " at the Using a computer Controlling a digital SLR camera (I use it for astrophotography and food photography) It's durable and I have a tight connection to the camera roll of "Gaffer Tape" (Gaffer Tape is very similar to duct tape in that it's a strong cloth tape (but it has a mess-free adhesive that peels off cleanly and leaves no sticky residue.) Secure the cable to a tripod to prevent someone tripping over the cable from yanking the camera connector and damaging the connector.

Pros
  • . Fully shielded to avoid external interference
Cons
  • . Security

I'm still using devices that have USB 2 connectors to the Use battery charging . This cable is 15 feet long so it goes well with the AV equipment that I plan to run on AC power rather than batteries. The length of the cable gives me more freedom of movement. I also like that it has a ferrite bead next to the smaller connector, which helps improve the data transfer rate when used for this purpose. I have posted some pictures of the cable (I bought 2 so the pictures show 2; there is only 1 in the

Good affordable price for computer accessories and peripherals

Works well! I'm using a 2011 MacBook Pro and a Nikon D300. I originally bought a 25ft cable but it kept disconnecting. I think it was because of the long cable length. I returned it and bought this 15ft cable which works fine. The only time I lost connection was when my computer went to sleep. I had to close the modem (using Lightroom CC Classic) and restart the modem. The USB connection to my computer is solid and reliable, and the connection to my camera is solid. I bought and used an…

Impressive! on USB cables

I took this cable with the intention of cutting it apart. I wanted a cable with a built in choke so I didn't have to improvise with a clip, but imagine my surprise when I cut it in half and found it was actually shielded! I cut up some cheap USB cables. Cables over time, but possibly this is the first time that not only the wires for the USB pinouts are correctly color coded, but also the shielding foil/braid around the internal conductors. This is important for using nearby radios, both to…

Pros
  • Premium version USB A to Mini B 5 pin cable
Cons
  • Quick guide

I ordered these cables because they have a ferrite coil. The mini-B connector will not connect to my Garmin nüvi 40LM or 50LM GPS devices. I have many other Garmin and non-Garmin mini-B cables that connect to Garmin receivers with no problem. Two identical Monoprice cables I ordered three years ago fit perfectly. I ordered one in March 2018 and it doesn't fit in the socket of one of the Garmin receivers. I ordered two more on July 6, 2018 thinking I accidentally received a bad one, but…

Excellent purchase; Works great with my Blue Yeti

I am happy with this purchase. It appears to be a quality cable at a great price. It's thicker than any other USB cable I've ever used (and I've been using them since USB was a thing), and it has a ferrite core (the little barrel-shaped thing at the end of the mini-USB). whose purpose is to reduce or eliminate EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference). I've only used this cable a few times to say "test, test, test" into my Blue Yeti, but the sound is wonderfully…

LOW tech here - don't know anything, so take grain/salt

Most of the following is for the C CRANE SW portable radio which I was planning to use this air conditioner on to get rid of the batteries. About THIS cable and the wall jack: I have NOTHING on AM, a little bit on FM and NOTHING on SW except about three crazy religious screamers and about three stations that sound like they're from Cuba. Just tried to ditch cables and go back to batteries and was able to pick up more AM stations and a few other FM stations, and almost nothing for SW. : I had…
