I used 3 monitors for work. 2 contained software I was moving around and 3rd was software I had just opened for monitoring and barely used. I dropped 2 for this ultrawide and it helped a lot. It's easier to look from side to side on a screen than moving your eyes or head between two screens all day. It seems trivial but becomes a big problem after a while. It's been a year and a half (so out of warranty of course) and this monitor is slowly dying, every input dimming after shorter use. I opened it up hoping to see the burnt lids, but it can't be that easy. What stood out was the terrible lack of thermal management. The case is fairly sealed with no chance of cooling, and it gets pretty hot. Perfect size for my purposes (not a player) for multi-window tasks. I find widescreen more convenient than 2 monitors. I still use a second monitor, but having a widescreen as my main workstation is great. Easily fits 3 documents side by side, ideal for large spreadsheets, multiple workspaces and graphic work. The monitor came in excellent condition, everything works. For the price, it performs better than most other expensive monitors. My only criticisms are that the black color could be better, the menu buttons are annoying when changing, and the blue light next to the power button cannot be changed/disabled. I suggest changing the calibration settings, there are guides on the web that can help with this. Also don't forget to enable "freesync" as it is disabled by default.

For me, this monitor is worth the money. I have no comparison for this thing other than replacing a good 27 inch Scepter 60Hz monitor. So far it's great. 100Hz and 3400x1440 are impressive. I use an RTX 3080 and play a variety of games from No Man's Sky to Baldur's Gate 3. The ultra widescreen is so good I'll never go back to widescreen.

Lots of full screen games cause the edges of the screen to flicker, which is very annoying, but you can fix this by booting into windowed mode and gently dragging the edges of the screen. annoying but doesn't break the deal
