Disappointing Shock Absorber

Based on my experience the shock absorber didn't meet my expectations. The item did fit perfectly on my automotive, however, the improvement on the ride quality is negligible. The main con is that the product is overpriced for what it can deliver .I hoped for much better performance, but it didn`t live up TO the hype. Overall, there are better options out there for a better value..

Pros
  • Smooth and comfortable ride experience
Cons
  • Can fail to control excessive bouncing on rough terrains

Unsatisfactory Performance

i purchased these shocks for my Automotive vehicle but was extremely disappointed with their overall performance .While the initial installation was easy and hassle-free, the shocks provided inadequate support and stability. The one and only benefit of these shocks was their relatively low price. However, the cons far outweigh any potential savings, making them a poor investment for anyone looking for quality suspension support..

Pros
  • Provides excellent performance in terms of stability and control for heavy-duty vehicles
Cons
  • May not be suitable or necessary for light-duty vehicles

Smooth running over replacement parts

The dampers I got from Tenneco were defective. Customer service was great as soon as Revain stepped in. The dampers themselves (bought locally later) work well. I can't compare them to $350 shocks because I won't spend $700 on 2 front shocks that don't get better reviews than that $50. They greatly improved the ride on my Sterling 9500.

Pros
  • Low friction single lip packing
Cons
  • Almost never
