Works great: Network filter

As far as I can tell it works great. The only problem I had was that the plug is on top of each other for a regular plus with two sockets, just like the front. There is a grounding plug on the back that connects to the ground of the 2nd outlet. There was only one outlet where I needed it so I had to cut off the 2nd floor (which probably shouldn't be done).

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Difficult to answer

Aesthetically much better than multiple splitters

I have Definitive Technology home theater speakers connected to four of these splitters in my basement. Aesthetically much better than multiple extensions. We have frequent power outages and power surges in our area, so using them makes me feel better. The only caveat is that once it works, it needs to be replaced. However, it is better than your component. Bought a few more just in case.

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • Security

I bought a few of these as they are on sale.

I bought a couple of these as they are now on sale at Revain for just under $10. I bought one seven years ago and it cost almost forty dollars. Every electronics store will have one of these guys. Has a green LED to let you know the outlet is properly grounded and a red one to let you know it's working / protects you from surges and surges.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • A little maintenance

Works well but has a few minor issues

The power supply works well although I haven't had any thunderstorms or crashes to really test it. A few areas I would disagree with are 1) The outlets in my house are rectangular "designer" shaped and don't have a screw in the middle. The AV 200 uses a screw in the center to attach it to a wall outlet. I haven't had any issues with falling out, but that could be an issue. 2) Won't fit behind my main TV due to the cramped space between the outlet and where the TV hangs. 3) Like all Monsterโ€ฆ

Works well but be careful

I bought two of these units and they were supplied by Galactics. They were well packaged but had no warranty card/information from Monster. I requested warranty cards but Galactic replied that they are not an authorized dealer and cannot provide warranty information. I am disappointed with this and would not have bought it if I had known about it. Of course I could send them back, but the costs and problems involved would exceed the purchase price. They seem to work fine and don't show secondsโ€ฆ

So far so good with surge protector

I bought this after a strong serious storage broke and the power was cut. I also noticed a new issue with my connected subwoofer making occasional crackling noises, so I figured this "pure force" surge protector might be worth a try. I've seen others mention that a screw is required between two plugs, which I believe means the screw that attaches them to the socket for support. At first it seemed like a problem, but I just unscrewed that screw from the unit :-) No subwoofer crackle yet, and the

  • Delivery was very quick

  • Good but not great

Great for the current price!

I have 5 of these at home now for less than $10. I am very satisfied with the functions and the quality. They have a clamping voltage of 330 volts (V), which is top-notch, hard to find, and usually retains data without reading the microprint on the back of the device, and especially at this ridiculously low price. One of the reasons they are so cheap is that they were made years ago. The ones I ordered were made around 2007 and 2008. On the back there is a date code and a UL hologram stickerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Hard to say
