💰 Moonjar Moneybox: Classic Spend and Share Review

My daughter (age 5) wanted this first thing when her grandpa gave her $100 for Christmas. She likes that she has access to money when she wants to spend it, but doesn't feel like it burns a hole in her pocket like I thought. She knows this is the time when she needs/wants something special, and she feels good about putting something aside to share with others (we haven't figured out exactly how yet). This makes her aware of what she does with her money. Thank you!

The material is a bit thinner than I thought (the tin part bends easily), but the concept is second to none. The drawers are individual and are held together with yellow ribbon (similar to the material awareness bracelets are made of). I ordered 3 of these for my 3 kids. Two sets were in perfect condition but one had loose lids. They just fall off. I could have just sent it back for a replacement but I don't have an extra car right now to get to the post office or UPS store so I just used duct tape to attach the covers to this set. I Like Three Sections! With the spend/save/share method, we decided to teach our children how to manage money. I also like that each section is a separate box. The metal cans are pretty strong and the lids hold up pretty well. I don't like the elastic that is supposed to hold the sections together. It's tight, which is good, but it's difficult for my kids to put it on on their own, and even when it's on, it's difficult to adjust the three shapes so that the set sits flat.
