Strong but the design of the buckle is such that the right side of the buckle protrudes a little because there is a pivot on the left side of the buckle. It does NOT lie flat like a military style buckle. This means touching/scratching everything at waist height. You don't want to wear this when you're leaning against your car and polishing the roof for paint scratches (for example).

I love these woven belts because they come in all colors and unlike leather belts with holes, they can be adjusted to ANY length! And since the buckles don't have any insignia or anything on the front, I can reverse them so the back doesn't lean in the same direction (some of you will know what I mean) so they stay relatively straight. Time.

Looks high quality with a flaw. The buckle keeps flying off and the collar just won't hold the buckle on the belt when the belt isn't on. I found the buckle in my suitcase and rolling around on the closet floor. It stays on when you wear it, but is easily lost when you put it on and take it off. Let's see how long I can use it before finally losing the buckle.

The price is so low that I doubted the quality. I was sure it would be cheap and I was wrong. The 1.5 inch full width is what I wanted and that's exactly what I ordered for the second $8 on this belt.
