Didn't take long to install. Yes, removing the bottom half of the factory airbox is a bit of a hassle, but not bad at all. The only thing that would be nice would be rubber boots that fit more snugly.

The price of this kit doesn't bite, I personally don't like oily filters so I ordered a dry S&B which snaps straight away. In general, I bought a pipe for the shield, but if you are happy with oily filters, then run it.

It was stupid easy to install and I've definitely noticed a difference in performance gain. The only issue I had was installing the side panel mounts and the 4" straight connector had to be replaced with a 3.5" 4" connector. But other than that, I highly recommend it!

This is a really good complete kit that seems to be of really good quality especially at this price point. I can't say which cars it fits. I bought it for a 99 Ram 2500 with a 4" turbo and it fits, I was planning on finding everything out as it's not made for my truck.

Went on easily, couldn't line up the rubber with the vibrating fork but it's still a solid fit. Replaced the filter with a K&N 4" universal filter. Done in under an hour. Works great, sounds great, also has a Flowmaster Super 40 Delta Flow muffler, can't speak on gas mileage yet. Update; 1 week later save i definitely gas the difference is not funny but i save for sure now i take care of the spark plugs and wires.

super good quality. If you have a 1999-2007 GM product with a 5.3 liter engine this is excellent value for this application. Two things: 1) put on spreader foil and wrap the cold air tube as it heats up quickly (see my picture with the wrapped tube) and 2) don't use the filter that came with it. inlet diameter. I went with K&N. I had no issues with the included clamps as other reviewers have commented.

Excellent induction for LS based engines. I used it in my 1984 Chevy C10. I installed the battery on the driver's side so this may be an issue for those who haven't moved the battery. The only real complaint is that the MAF required a bit of fiddling to mount it to the filter and pipe, which was possible, but not in the way intended. To be honest for the price and quality of the kit I would expect to tinker with it.
