Very good quality but take the time to put it in your key. I recommend Quadratec's 26 minute tutorial video on installing your keycap. Take your time and follow the instructions and you will be fine. Took me about 30 minutes and was very careful. Doing it yourself will save you a hundred dollars or more compared to buying from a dealer with a preconfigured key. So definitely worth it if you're interested.

Yes, it costs about $40 more than other locking gas caps. But I'm happy to spend that $40 now in exchange for the convenience that this gas cap will provide throughout the life of my Jeep. No extra wrenches, no tether - don't underestimate the importance of the tether - you won't leave it at the gas station. Just watch the Quadratec video how to tie it. It's nice to do it yourself. Works great on my 2020 Gladiator Overland. I think all Gladiator models have the same package.

Original Mopar part. I agree with other reviews - it's pretty easy to open the lock cylinder, especially after watching one of the many videos (I watched the Quadratec video). You will eventually need to install four small springs, four keyed pins (you get 8 packs of 3, don't worry!) and a locking pin to complete the cylinder and drum assembly.
