Although I had to wait two weeks for delivery, it was worth the wait. The little coat goes perfectly with my mini and is the first coat I've found that covers her entire back. While the size is perfect for long-backed dachshunds, the medium-weight material and workmanship are very good. I'm so impressed I'm ordering another one for our standard.

I have a female and 2 males, the strap on the coat is too wide and should go about 1 cm higher to the neck, so it almost touches the urine of mine dog so I need to make sure he doesn't pee on his fur when he pees which is annoying so I am returning this product. Otherwise it was a very nice coat.

We got this because our girl, like a lot of cute girls, is a pansy when it comes to cold. Although she doesn't wear coats at all (they restrict her movements, which she hates), winter walks in them are much more comfortable for her. The inside is nice and fluffy and the leash hole fits my travel harness perfectly. It's also ridiculously cute to see a pink sausage scurrying down the sidewalk! :-D

I bought two of these for my dachshund. I really like how easy it is to put them on dogs. While the fabric on the inside (closest to the dog) is soft, it's almost like Velcro for grabbing leaves, branches, and things in the garden. The little coat is still too big (long) for my little dachshunds. I bought a different style of tack for one of our other dogs and it seems to do better when it comes to sticking out leaves.
