Rubber keys stick easily, but in most cases it's easy.

This thing is annoyingly overpriced (mainly because you're paying for 100 feet of phone wire). It uses the same electronic circuit board as the Tristar device, but this version is much more expensive. I got stuck on the purchase because I wanted a remote display. It does a good job overall, the rubber buttons get stuck easily, but most of the time it just shows real-time solar output, the only time you have to fiddle with the buttons and menu trees is to check history (i.e. recent 30 days)…

Very compact. Easy to install. Proper instructions provided you read and practice until it becomes clear (quickly) what the graphics mean. Lots of useful information available. Good backlight. The yellow arrow keys take a bit of getting used to as they don't feel like clickable keys at all, but once I got used to the feel they worked well, albeit erratically at times. Waited 17 months to review this charge controller

This charge controller is powered by 600w Renogy panels with 6 Trojan T-105 Plus batteries. I now use my generator on wheels to power my rooftop air conditioners and microwave. This charge controller could be fully programmed to the specifications of the Trojan battery manufacturers. A word of caution when connecting this controller: If you want to use the full potential of this charge controller, you will need to invest in thick gauge quality cables. Excellent charge controller

This is an excellent charge controller. Installation has been clearly outlined in the user manual with factory preset charging programs covering most battery charging points. Programs can be easily installed using small DIP switches. If you prefer to use a dedicated solar charging program (ie total charge voltage of 15.0 volts with a 13.4 volt float charge), you can download Morningstar's PC software and enter the charge points manually. UPDATE 08/20/2017: The Morningstar TS-45 TriStar charge controller has been running continuously since it was installed in late December 2016 with over 5,000 hours of continuous use. It worked perfectly. My battery was kept charged to be prepared for the occasional power outage that happens here on the island.
