Upgraded Moroso Air/Oil Separator Catch Can Kit for Chrysler Dodge Hemi Cars, Model Years 2005-2015 Review

Bought with my 392 Hemi. I had to use a zip tie to secure one of the hoses, but that could be due to possible aftermarket fittings from a special eBay container I replaced. I think you should use the 5.7 clamp on the 392, but I used the 6.1 clamp and turned it back for a cleaner look.

Worked as described, had to make modifications and install elsewhere (radiator mounting screw) and I bought hose to go completely from PVC to the latch. To the throttle body I also used a 1 90 degree bend for a clean look and was able to hold the engine cover in place.

Always read that you need one of these if you intend to service your car until the wheels come off. Relatively easy to install. After only 2 weeks he had already started filtering enough oil to drain it from the reservoir. And the spout with built in valve makes emptying very easy compared to cheap ones that require you to unscrew the body.

Not bad to put together. On my 5.7LI I used all the original hoses except for a small piece on the PVC valve because I needed an elbow so the hose doesn't pinch at the inlet. Install the fittings, then disassemble to remove the metal shavings with Teflon tape on the threads before final assembly. You don't want metal shavings getting into the intake manifold.

Quality kit with everything you need for installation. Nice solid mount. In fact, there are 2 brackets of different lengths. 1/4 turn ball drain valve for easy draining. Just add some teflon tape when installing the brass spikes. Looks nice. In the upper part there is something like steel wool with a bracket. Works well. Watch YouTube videos for installation ideas. Installed on a 2014 RT charger. No engine cover trimming required.

Installed on a 2010 Challenger R/T (5.7) in about 45 minutes which took me time. Very well made with an O ring between the top and bottom of the can. Easily mounts to existing equipment on the engine. He has driven the car about 1000 miles and I will check the oil in about 2000. I need to put the car back on the dyno and see if the time without knock sensor detection can be increased over the setting. before you add it.
