I've only been using it for 2 weeks and so far no problems (knock on wood). The case is beautifully finished for its price, both inside and out. "Skin" looks a bit boring, but I think it should look like an old book. The inside is very soft and very smooth. When I open the top, the MacBook Air doesn't slip out of the two elastic straps at the top corners, as some reviewers have noted. This case is perfect for my Acer Spin 1 laptop - SP114-31-C3B6. Can be attached easily. You can fold it back, but you'll have to remove the Acer first, as the lid itself isn't designed to fold back. This is a slight inconvenience for me because I've tried so many other cases that I was close to giving up. My Acers keyboard is permanently attached so this case still works the way I want it to. In addition, the optics are stunning. Very stylish.

Nice case. It's slim and fits snugly on your laptop. Be sure to check out the versions that fit as my Mac didn't have much wiggle room. The downside of the lid is that it has ties that can be held on the top of the lid but not the bottom. As you adjust the angle, the bottom slides forward and the top then slides off. Due to the size of the case I took a chance and ordered it for use with an Acer R13 Chromebook. I thought it was a bit big. However, to my surprise, it fits like a glove, much like this case was made for the R13.
