I just got this cup holder for my motorcycle. I will place it on my roll bar on a BMW R1200rt. This is a permanent mount. I had a Ram Coaster and lost a few drinks off it. This cup holder looks like it can handle anything and keep my drink in place. I had a small problem with the delivery. You forgot the U-bolts in the box. I emailed them and got a reply the same day. They shipped the U-Bolts the same day I emailed them. I recommend buying this coaster.

Thing is pretty solid. I got it for my dad's power chair and with the cup holder on he accidentally smashed it into objects a couple of times and it came back unharmed. The only problem I have are the fasteners. It's designed for ball joint use, I paired it with "marine grade" aluminum RAM parts, the strongest I could find and they're still not strong enough to take the same impacts as a cup holder to suffer. .
