Not for my car.: Engine cooling and air conditioning

This product was recommended for Honda Civic 2008, but it may not be suitable for my car. Check the exact replacement type for each machine.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Don't know anymore

It's the thermostat, it seems to be working.

Seems to be working well, not long enough to speak of durability but installation went smoothly and parts appear to be of good quality.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modern

nice product, like all motorcycle products.

A great product, like all Motorad products, made in Israel. Israel has some of the best process engineers in the world, and this thing shows it.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Tradable

Honda Civic Lx coupe 2008. Perfect fit!

Fits nicely in my car. Replaced my old Onr which was stuck in the closed position. The car stopped overheating. I recommend buying a filling. Only $2 to replace both at once

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Out of fashion

DON'T BUY SECURITY. THIS IS GARBAGE

This thing is designed to fail in the OPEN position and in the closed position it is locked with a fuse. My cooling system built up too much pressure and blew out the radiator and hoses. I couldn't get off the road fast enough before the temperature got critical and my head gasket blew. My Honda rebuild was about 8000 for a new head, hardware, water pump, thermostat etc. DO NOT BUY A SAFE. The $12 part cost me my car.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Failsafe, FAILURE! for spare parts

lower part I think. He is only 3 years old and he failed! and I took great care to install cleanly, tighten screws evenly, etc. I've worked on my cars since I was a teenager 50 years ago, I know how to change the thermostat. The original, OEM, was too hot at 180 and failed, I replaced it with a 170 Fahrenheit model and it failed and stuck. At least I think that happens to me. The machine overheats again, runs terribly. Now I have to rip it AGAIN and replace it AGAIN! Piss Me Off because I'm…

Pros
  • inspires confidence
Cons
  • disappears

Easy peasy DIY best in engine cooling and air conditioning

Easy to install on 98 Accord. I seem to have solved my coolant boiling problem. I'm sure a car with a well-functioning cooling system is much happier. There is no gasket included so best get one if you really don't think you can recycle the old one. (Don't) Even if you care about the environment or just don't want to make a mess, you should definitely put some kind of pot/tub under the car. Some coolant will spill when removing the coolant hose, but you can brace it and stop the flow quickly…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Some cons
