Ideal for fixing the air flow only at high

Works perfectly! Fixed my Ranger where the fan was only running at one speed (high). Came as an original Motorcraft part with a straight fit.

Great product at a great price!

You can never go wrong with a power boat. The only problem I've encountered is terminal corrosion. Other than that, it was pretty direct.

Easy fan repair.

Pretty easy to install. Ford installed it in a hard-to-reach place. In addition, it mounts with 2 8mm head mounts and has an electrical connector. After replacement, the fan ran at all speeds.

2000 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L.

Worked in my 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L 2WD Automatic with Heat and Air Conditioning. I suddenly had the highest fan speed on my heater, as soon as I switched it on I had all 4 fan speeds of the heater. again. This has been working flawlessly for a good two months now. Update: A year later and it still works great.

Pros
  • Fan Motor
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

GOT IT! in Switches and Relays

Got it! Okay, sports fans, this is flat country, and probably applies to most rangers. I found a post from a Ford tech saying there could be a big problem where the resistor positions start to disappear (hence you lose the fan speed position). This problem is that the fan motor becomes very resistant over time and is or could be the cause of the resistor failure, which was the case in my case. So if you just change the resistor when you lose fan speed the new resistor can just blow up which…
