Excellent glow plugs

Excellent glow plugs. 2000 F250 7.3L power stroke. Has been replaced by a different brand set by the previous owner. Two were completely fractured and four others were swollen. I took them out for a long time. The cold start difference is incredible. Once the HPOP reaches pressure, the engine runs. No ifs and or buts. Combine this with a White Rodgers squadron and your cold start worries are gone.

Pros
  • Strong and durable
Cons
  • poorly designed

High quality OEM glow plugs

High quality OEM glow plugs. I just bought a 97 F250 7.3 Powerstroke and the glow plugs have never been changed after almost 200,000 miles. As soon as it got colder the engine wouldn't start and when it did start it was smoking! Replaced every 8 in about 4 hours of swearing and yelling at hard to reach valve cover bolts. Tip: Use a 6" piece of rubber fuel line to unscrew the old plugs after they have come loose from their sockets. That alone will save you a lot of frustration. Make sure you…
