Part doesn't work best in anti-theft

If it was even possible to give it zero stars I would plug it in and plug it in then it made me sit on the key fob for about an hour a week stopped understand my car had to go back to my house to get the original key which started fast this part doesn't work

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • Lots of things

Works as advertised

From the first time it worked with no problems. Dictionary.com was clear but didn't describe every detail. For example, what to do when switching to another remote control for a program. It just says "repeat xyz steps" but doesn't say if the car's start button needs to be pressed to move to the next key fob to program.

Pros
  • Weight

Will NOT work with Infiniti FX50

I have tried 2 different modules on my 2009 Infiniti FX50. You will program your original OEM remote and other Infiniti OEM remotes, but the supplied Dorman remote will not program for the FX50. The module guides you through the steps as if the car were a Nissan Maurano and not an Infiniti. Following the steps will program the Infiniti remotes but not the included Dorman remote. I called tech support and they don't know anything. So don't buy the FX50 if you need the included Dorman remote to…

Need a plumber! Why buy a programmer?

Very disappointed with this product and Revain shouldn't list it as a compatible product and neither should Dorman to be honest. Although the key is compatible with my 2008 Infiniti EX35, the whole purpose of buying the key and combo programmer was to do it yourself. By following the instructions to the letter, my car was deactivated with both the factory key and the new key using this kit. I had to call a locksmith to program everything (the programmer with this kit is not only useless but…

Pros
  • Still happy

  • Some flaws

Worked GREAT for my 2009 Infiniti FX35!

I bought this item because I only had one working remote control for my car. The seller asked for a astronomical $350 for a copy of an existing keychain. I called 5 local locksmiths and the cheapest I could find was $150 for a duplicate key fob. I bought this kit for $94 and bought an additional original blank Infinti key fob for $45. Less than $150 total spent PLUS I know I have 3 working keychains! I literally followed the instructions line by line after finding the OBDII port (didn't know it

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
