Buy something else. the TV onto the entire bracket and THEN to the wall. Why doesn't the TV mount separate from the rest of the mount like most others? I've installed literally hundreds of TVs and for a mount that's rated for TVs up to 55 inches, things get more complicated. You need to make it in two parts so you can screw the mount to your TV without getting in the way of the wall mount. Had I known that I would have never bought it and kept looking instead of saving a few bucks.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Shorter cable than others

Drywall anchors are useless

Although the fastener itself is very strong and well made, drywall anchors are not suitable for this installation. I couldn't find a stand near the middle of the wall so I used plastic wall anchors. I made a hole for each one big enough for the anchors to hold tight when I hammer them in. We hung the TV and none of the screws tightened. I could see a 1/8 inch gap behind the top screw and after a few minutes all the screws popped out of their anchors. If you find a bobby pin near the center…

Wouldn't buy again. the best in tv ceiling and wall mounts

instructions for it were sorely lacking. There are no written instructions, only photos showing that everything is already assembled. However, the entire bracket that connects to the TV itself comes in 5 pieces, with no instructions or diagrams for assembly. After assembling everything, hooking it up to the TV and installing it, I'm not 100% sure I trust it. Seems very unstable. My TV is only 40 inches and weighs 18 pounds. The packaging says the 55-inch TV weighs up to 66 pounds. Finally, the…

Please ignore the cables lol I still have to get the cable box and wifi router shelves and also hide the cable. Now for the TV stand itself. The hardware is very strong and durable. 2 people were needed for installation. But with that said I'm only 5ft 3in tall and couldn't get where I wanted to go lol. Installation was easy, quick and easy. This mount does not come with a bubble level or stud finder, so I recommend purchasing those two items. TV 50 inches, holds normal. I highly recommend this

Re-evaluate for weight support

We hung a 50 inch TV that weighed about 40 pounds. The elongated bracket was twisted to the limit by the weight of the TV. I doubt it's really believable given the advertised weight of 65 pounds. I'm not very happy that it's actually rated for the 40 pounds we have now, especially if we extend the arm to add more HDMI cables later. Also, there was a problem with the installation. All of the other fasteners I've installed need to attach a plate. on the back of the TV and the bracket attaches…

  • Easy installation
Cons
  • The list will be long.

LOTS of unused hardware when installing my 2020 32 " Samsung TV

The instructions shown were misleading and made simple jobs difficult. At first I thought I ordered the wrong item and wanted to return it. However, I have other Revain reviewers that said it would work so I dropped the diagram instructions for other TV brands and sizes and used my intuition instead. On the back of my 32" Samsung TV there were already 4 screws holding the X- Mount perfectly fixed without using any extensions or other accessories. I used heavy Mount-It screws to attach the TV…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Nothing

Although the wall mount is sturdy and has a plug, the TV stand is a little wobbly and difficult to assemble. There is no hook or latch on the rear TV mount like other wall mounts. One person (or two, depending on weight) should hold the TV while the other tightens the back screw to secure the TV. The tilt hinge is clumsy and difficult for one person to adjust and I do NOT trust its integrity. I was concerned that it would abruptly drop to a lower tilt position and damage the new 50" Phillips…

Reevaluate for Weight Support

We hung a 50-inch TV that weighed about 40 pounds. The elongated bracket was bent to the limit by the weight of the TV. I doubt the advertised £65 rating is really credible. I'm not very happy that it's actually rated for the 40 pounds we have now, especially if we extend the arm to add more HDMI cables later. Also, installation was painful. The brackets I installed attach the plate to the back of the TV, with the bracket attaching separately to the wall. Then hook the TV to the bracket and…

Recommended in TV Accessories

I don't understand why some other mounts cost so much more than this one, I had them and they are almost identical. It is great. Works the way you want it. I really wish it was a hair closer to the wall in the fully closed or "most hidden" position, probably imperceptible to most, but I do notice fractions of an inch haha. Other fixtures also had this problem, this is for the spare bedroom. Good enough :) Oh the instructions were very strange and I don't think English or proper English anyway…
