I was misled by a video showing a gentleman moving the monitor arms up and down slightly (without using a hex wrench). After my stand was installed by our technical service department, I found that you need to use an Allen wrench to adjust the height of the monitor on the stand. I've used this on a number of Asus 24" monitors. It is well made and has a heavy base. I didn't hug the table. I like the fact that it has more capacity compared to those with a maximum size of 24 inches, so you get better angle adjustment. I bought this after I got a new desk that my old snap-on dual monitor mount didn't work on. You have enough free space for monitors. I agree, as do some of the other reviewers, that two people will find it easier to mount monitors.
