My 8 year old son loves these pants! After overheating on the playground during break in thick winter pants on warm winter days, we were looking for a simpler solution - it was perfect! And they can withstand very severe changes well!

Pros
  • I hope they are perfect for watching a soccer game on a rainy day!
Cons
  • No pockets

. 9 and wears size 9-10) very happy with it

My daughter (just turned 9 and wears a size 9-10) is very happy with it. They pair perfectly over sweatpants for extra warmth and protection.

Pros
  • I bought this item for my daughter to wear during her ice skating lessons. They fit great and feel very solid.
Cons
  • Too long and doesn't fit

Great waterproof pants!

You are excellent! Our son is an average weight and height for a 12 year old boy. I bought a size 13 so he can wear thin sweatpants underneath. We are ordering a second pair for my youngest son! Thanks for the well-made waterproof pants!

Pros
  • Has no inner lining. Coped well with the snow but had to wear sweat underneath
Cons
  • Takes a long time to dry

Second pair for my eldest son; .

Second pair for my eldest son; The first pair held up well enough to pass to my youngest boy. They are fairly waterproof and are good for rain or an outer layer in the cold. They compress and pack well and can be taken on any scouting tour.

Pros
  • Solid waterproof pants you can leave in school - pocket holes were a big hit but they make them less waterproof...
Cons
  • Do not machine wash

Has served its purpose. The kids wore it to school.

Has served its purpose. The kids wore it on a school trip so I couldn't comment on how well it held up in the rain. But so far no complaints from them. Bought for a 10 year old

Pros
  • Worked great in a wet and dirty soccer game. My kids stayed dry and happy playing outside for an hour or more.
Cons
  • No adjustable waistband

I just wanted for my twins

I wanted very light weight waterproof pants for my twins. We travel with backpacks and know the equipment. We haven't tried them in the rain but they look good and fit as expected. They work well as a windbreaker. One thing I don't think they mention in the description is that they come with cloth pouches. Less than a tennis ball. Ideal for girls to carry in backpack when needed. We also have two Mountain Warehouse ski jackets. Girls love them and hands down can't beat them for the price. These

Worth buying!

Although I expected them to be light, they are much lighter than I expected! Something like those thin bags you get with umbrellas? Yes, they remind me of that, only waterproof and louder. I don't like the volume but they are definitely waterproof/resistant and it's great! We live in PNW and it's raining so the shelter for my kids is just what I was hoping for. We even took them out in the snow last weekend and my oldest layered jacket was underneath and they were the top layer and it stayed…

Pockets would be nice for the price.

Nowadays it is difficult to find suitable clothes for a thin and tall 5 year old child. We've barely gotten into these pants and are already thinking of going up a size, but so far it still fits him. An unexpected find, there are two holes on either side but no pockets! The design seems to suggest they are worn over other pants underneath and the vents are convenient for accessing the first pair's pockets. Well, in the real world, it rains when it's relatively warm outside and you're only…
