I took a gamble based on recommendations I found on a boaters forum that they would work with my Westerbeke 7.6kW alternator. Unfortunately, they are not the same, so I paid the highest price for "Westerbeke" glow plugs. I believe Westerbeke uses small 3 cylinder diesel engines from various brands and mine is clearly not a Kubota.

Installed on our generator in the winter. Ran it to make sure everything was fine and it was. The generator went out a week ago and will not start. Upon inspection we found that all 3 glow plugs were not working. Installed a new set of Kuboto plugs and haven't had any issues with multiple starting and cooling tests since. It's a shame because they are very affordable.

I was looking for glow plugs for my Kubota EA330 single cylinder engine. Works as it should. Tested all 3 candles with a battery, they all work fine and light up the same. My original Kubota glow plug burned out because the heat-up time was too long. For this candle, 5 - 7 seconds is enough to reach the temperature of white glow. The afterglow was about 10-15 seconds. At the moment the lowest engine starting temperature is -4F. Jumped on the first try.
