  • Of course, the most important thing in it is the size. The good old small screen, thanks to which you can type with one hand and hold the device in it, without experiencing inconvenience and inferiority complexes about your short fingers (thanks to the global trend towards larger screens). At the moment (autumn 2022) this is the most compact device available on the market, which is also smart, thin and normal looking (only in space gray black, I never understood other colors with huge white frames at the ready of the black screen , this is aesthetically weak). Actually, let's move on to the advantages: 1. Size; 2. Ease of use; 3. Weight (88g); 4. Nimbleness in applications (until I tested the games, I donโ€™t really play);
Cons
  • 1. Battery. With active use, it lasts as long as my old 5th generation ipod touch lasts (half a day)! It's the one who came up with the idea of โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹putting a faster percentage, 4 times more memory (512MB for the 5th) and leaving the battery the same. Well nonsense, Apple, ay! The power bank will always be with you, it will always be with me, so I donโ€™t experience any problems, especially since Iโ€™m used to my old ipod, charging is less than an hour, current consumption is 0.7 A (max); 2. Annoying unlocking on the "home" button. Again, this is from the ease of use class, with ios 10 the usual slide to unlock is no longer in vogue, so you have to unlock it by pressing the home button, no fingerprint scanner, no face id, nothing. In general, IMHO too many functions are tied and ios 12.4.1 (delivery set) on the home button, the whole process of using the ipod is only on it and you press it. 1 click - desktop, 2 clicks - switching between applications, 3 clicks - configured as desired, and here you are sitting and frantically pressing this poor button, xs; 3. Price. 19 thousand from the officials for 32 GB, this is of course too much. I can hardly imagine a person who would take such a specific device for such money. I ordered for 200 bucks (compare, ipod 5 64 GB in 2022 cost me 11 thousand).

Good product, good quality, not bad.

About music. I go into albums like that to choose an album for myself, and then a song from it. And I see what's on the screen. And here it turns out that I have, for example, 100 albums with 10 songs each, and I have to scroll through a thousand songs manually, and guess their names with my left heel.   • Light weight and size (I hate shovels, even 4.7 is a lot for me), as well as a large amount of storage: almost all of my favorite songs that I have listened to in my life have got into the MP3 320 or AAC quality. In the hand lies very nicely, and the metal case inspires confidence. There are no comments on the sound, but I'm not an audiophile, I listen in the background while walking in Apple headphones with a remote control, and I'm fine. Productive, like all technology on iOS: it flies without a hint of brakes and crashes. Good main camera. At least better than my regular iPad (2022). Almost all the functions of the iPhone, except for cellular communication; by Apple standards, even the price is more or less (when compared with iPhones, which, for example, I donโ€™t need for nothing). The external speaker is normal, it screams hard for such a baby, it tries. Lift activation. Maybe this is in all small-sized equipment of the company, I donโ€™t know, but I really liked this function and I learned about it for the first time.
Cons
  • The stock music app is so bad it's unusable (see comment). And this, *, in a device made for music! MUSIC, Carl! For 26 thousand! There is no multifunctional physical PLAY button between the volume buttons. The iPod nano has one, and it lets you pause/start playback, fast-forward, rewind, and skip to the next or previous track. No song title spoken like on iPod nano. That is, you cannot hold down the middle button on the device (because it does not exist) or on the earpods remote control and hear the name of the song and who performs it. Volume from zero to maximum with a physical button is achieved in just 16 steps, which is very small, especially compared to 32 in the nanik. That is, the same flexibility as when adjusting on the screen cannot be achieved with buttons. The slight clang of a camera glass. Moreover, as I learned from YouTube, this is not a marriage, this is in all iPods, at least new ones. He is not always heard. Moreover, if I had not found out about it on the Internet, perhaps I would not have noticed at all, but the question about the build quality still appeared. In sunglasses, you can see almost nothing in it. Solution: turn the brightness to the maximum and / or turn off the dark theme. But sorry, if I knew that the dark mode would have to be turned off, I would take the sixth touch of the same volume for several thousand cheaper. The new iOS and, accordingly, dimming is supported only by the last one at the moment, the seventh. Solution: either use only light, or set auto-change to dark with the onset of evening + set in the player so that the theme in it is the same as in the system.

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

I use this device not only as a media player, but also just as a phone. I distribute Wi-Fi to it from my phone, and you can use it anytime and anywhere. All the latest games, all social networks (except WhatsApp) are installed on this iPod, and it also has a very good camera (despite only 8mp), I use it for semi-professional photos. I recommend the device to anyone who is thinking about buying it :)

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I have been using an old iPod model MD059LL/A for many years. 64 GB capacity. Plays well, music is mostly in Apple Lossless format, which is about twice as dense as WAV. There was not enough space. Stopped ating a long time ago. Recently, it often writes that "The device is outdated and the function is not available." I went to the Market, saw this model almost twice cheaper than usual, bought it. The market also delivered for free. Satisfied like an elephant!

  • performance, after the 5th generation - heaven and earth, A10 is more than enough for such a screen. dimensions, this is the thinnest Apple device - it lies very nicely in the hand, but you wonโ€™t understand this until you pick it up yourself) good bright screen, still quite a decent camera for the budget segment. long battery life when listening to music/audiobooks or reading. 4" for a player, it seems to me, is a plus, it's convenient to carry in your pocket (again, thickness), or play sports (cycling is a pleasure). perfect with wireless headphones. and yes, the full functionality of iOS - applications, instant messengers, audio / video communication (but you need an additional headset with a microphone), more narrowly - for testing for developers or for cafes / restaurants (once even Apple released a 16GB model without a camera for these purposes) . a big plus - in 2022 there is a 3.5mm jack, you can use it with a home stereo system or with your favorite wired headphones
Cons
  • under load, the operating time is greatly reduced (partly offset by the fact that it charges very quickly). for some, a small screen is a minus - but again, depending on what purpose to use, my opinion is that this is rather a plus, the player is invisible even in sportswear, not to mention everyday
