Pretty standard. There's nothing special about them, but it was exactly what I was looking for. I have two of these - one for the front door, the other for the back. They do a great job of cleaning my feet before entering the house, removing mud, dirt, snow and all that extra crap I put on my shoes. A word of warning - they spill a little from the packaging. I wouldn't unfold it indoors - roll it out outside or on top of something else you've got a lot of stuff around the house!

This floor mat is advertised as having a durable PVC backing. I laid the mat down and within 3 minutes my 1 year old basset hound ripped it apart a few inches. As I picked up the pieces and pulled them out of the dog's mouth, I realized it was a choking hazard when he started coughing up the pieces. It is NOT heavy duty and easy to disassemble. I do not recommend this rug. I can only imagine how it works when people keep wiping their feet on it.

Let me start by saying that the customer service experience I have had with this company also deserves 5 stars. When my rug arrived the packaging box was fine but the box the rug came in was intact which caused a small tear on the back of the rug. While the damage to the carpet was minimal (it was on a PVC backing so you couldn't see it unless you looked very closely when it was turned upside down), I was pissed that someone had done the damage saw it and decided to box it up and mail it…
