I love that you can set 4 custom modes for viewing and/or browsing and then go back to 24/7 mode with very little inconvenience. The only downside is that the timer is in 3 hour increments so you have to be around 24/7 or decide what you need when you enter. Luminous intensity and color change about every hour instead of three hours. An added…

Pros
  • Perfectly Simulated: This aquarium light can gradually simulate the effect of slow sunrise, bright daylight and soft sunset, giving your animals a natural light cycle
Cons
  • Almost never

I've had my eye on these lights for a long time. It's so cheap I didn't even expect it. But he came and wow. It looks really beautiful and the light is excellent. Nice little light at an affordable price

I have several of which bought these lanterns to reduce the cost of this expensive hobby. I'm relatively new to this hobby and not well versed in planted tank lighting, but I give these lights credit based on their cost and what they've done in my aquarium. I started with a high 20g with lights on the bottom cap and a few plants. My plants grew very slowly, if at all, and I figured they needed more light, but I didn't want to pay $100 for light. I stumbled across them and bought a 24 inch…
