This honey dispenser is great! I needed something to get rid of the sticky countertop my husband left behind after his usual honey toast every morning. This saves you from wasting honey through drips and drizzles falling in the wrong place where you wanted it. I've read that some people claim it drips, but it doesn't if you follow the directions. I thought there would be small drips in the bottom bowl, but so far I haven't seen any tiny ones.

Looks nice but when half empty it takes a long time to dispense the right amount. May need a vent hole for easier dosing. The quality of the lid/handle looks cheap and can easily break. Another thing is when you fill it you have to cover the bottom with your finger (or find another covering item). I do not like it. I thought I saw a little rubber stopper somewhere to use when filling. Although it looks nice.

The cork can get sticky and stick to the bottom of the jar, but I either wipe off the bottom before sticking it in the bottom of the jar, or just gently lift it up. The bottom and vessel are made of glass, the spout is made of plastic, as honey reacts to metal. My only concern is that the plastic spout will hold up. I almost sent it back because it kept leaking. I had to experiment a bit on the sink with water instead of honey, but I figured out the problem. I noticed this when putting on the top if you overtightened. it leaks because the cork needs to be seated properly and overtightening will cause it to be crooked. I ordered very carefully, as many reviews were negative. So far I'm very happy with it. It's a bit tricky to fill out, but I definitely didn't need two people to do it. I held my finger over the hole in the ground as I poured the honey into it. Then, still closing the bottom hole, gently insert the mechanism and hold your finger until the small plunger reaches the bottom and plugs the hole. If some honey comes out, just wipe it off. I get a drop or two on the bottom of the coaster after each use with my Agave. Honey has become much cleaner.
