I have sensitive skin that is particularly sensitive to fragrances used in detergents and fabric softeners. I get a very itchy, disgusting looking rash that goes away forever. I was taking a chance, but I really wanted to find a scented fabric softener that would suit me so I could wash my own and men's clothes in one load. That's it! I don't have to search anymore! Smells good and doesn't irritate my skin.

When using this don't expect a very strong, overpowering lavender scent. You get a pleasantly mild fragrance and your clothes smell very fresh. This is perfect for linens, especially if you use a light laundry spray when ironing pillowcases. I really like this fabric softener because it's just as soft as the commercial brands and because it's made from sustainable materials it makes me feel better using it.

Does the job without leaving as much residue as traditional chemical fabric softeners like Downy. The scents are real too, so they smell like real lavender, not chemicals meant to mimic lavender but never smell. I prefer real scents to artificial ones. I also like companies like Mrs. Meyer's which, unlike the regular guys, don't put ingredients directly on the bottle. Meyer's also has fragrances that these guys don't have that I can mix and match if I want, like Rosemary & Mint. Fiction.
